Michael Watson

2024

Tomorrow. Together.

Hi. I’m Mike Watson, and I’m running for President of the United States.

My fellow Americans, friends, for far too many of us, the American dream feels more like a fantasy. Between a staggering level of chronic illnesses and an economy that never seems to leave enough for everyone, it’s no surprise that so many of us don’t feel represented or even heard.  I think we’re tired of simply rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic when we know that the ship is sinking beneath our feet.

So I’m asking for your help to change that. I’m going to be honest, when I look out at our nation, I see a country struggling with systemic and structural problems. Problems that can and will fracture our Union if we don’t take immediate steps to solve them and heal the damage. That’s why, in spite of the terrific odds against a campaign like this, I chose to try.

I won’t be another politician offering empty promises from behind a podium. I don’t claim to have all the answers. What I will offer you is a promise to listen and work together. To find meaningful compromise between differing beliefs and work to remove the barriers that hold us back from our potential. I’ll build a platform rooted in your needs. I’ll focus on specific solutions to real problems and I’ll make sure that it’s the rank and file Americans who always have a seat at my table.

Change does not come from the governmental chambers of Washington. Political power does not rest in the hands of the elite, or the privileged. The seat of American power is, and always has been, “we the people,” and political gridlock and partisan bickering only persists as long as we allow it. So I’m asking for your help. Join me in doing something completely crazy. Join me in taking a stand and starting to try to fix this. God knows I’m going to need help if something this outlandish is to have any hope of success. Please donate if you can, and sign up for updates so we can get some volunteers on the ground.

Please, join me in bringing about true change.

My fellow Americans, our ship is battered, and it might be sinking, but I have hope. I’ve seen the strength of our people and I know that we, together, have the power to face our problems.

God bless America, and may our best days lie ahead.
